As part of an University research project on Bulbophyllum , we need to be able to analyse the fragrance produced by a member of section Cirrhopetaloides (e.g. B. fascinator, putidum etc ) and investigate flower structure. All that this would entail would be to put a bag over the flowers for 30 min or so, and to have a few flowers for microscopy. Of course, the owner of the plant would be acknowledged in any subsequent publication. Do you have such a plant about to flower? Within reason, the researchers might be able to travel (within the UK) to sample in situ.

Many thanks,
Kevin
