This plant was sold to me as Den. Irene Smile but there is no such hybrid. It looks very much like Den.Angel Smile but who knows! Anyway it has good looking flowers I just need to coax more of them out of the plant.

I never had much luck with nobile dendros, couldn't give them the conditions. One day! This is really nice, whatever the cross is.

Hi Terry,

Is that flowering now, if so, how many flowers?

The reason I ask is that I bought 3 Noids last year in full flower (summer): viewtopic.php?f=15&t=10537
I re-potted them after flowering (in clay balls), one similar to yours has 2 flowers right now, another has 3 small buds developing.
I'm thinking this is just a "blip" and they will still have their main full flowering season in Summer as before.
Maybe yours will do the same?

Steve

Yes Steve it is in flower now with four flowers on a single cane. There are seven decent sized canes that are not in flower.I was keeping it cool and dry in a greenhouse with min temps 5C and then I noticed it was producing buds so I brought it in and watered it a little (this may ruin my chance of a good flowering later) perhaps I should have just left it in the greenhouse!

Mine are always kept in the same conditions, warm & watered all year round.
If like mine, there are no buds on any of the other canes, fingers crossed that these few flowers are just a "blip" and we'll both get a main flowering from the other canes later in the year?

Watch these spaces !
