Hi

This is another of my Ratcliffe buy's It throw a false sheath up last year and this year it throw a bud up from the sheath.
I am very happy as I have heard ho difficult this species can be to actually get the bud to grow or even open.

I am very happy with the flower and really hope the plant dose well be me, I grow this is coarse bark and sphag moss.

Lovely to see this unusual and colourful species. Well done on getting it to flower. If you get a chance to take another photo without the light behind the flower it would be great to see.

Also heard it can be difficult. Not got it into my collection yet but may at some point add. Some striking colours and well grown.
