Regulars will know that if a plant is any smaller than a barn-door then there's no chance that I will be able to get a good clear photo of it, but so pleased with this plants progress that a blurry photo will have to do (imagine its just like a french impressionist painting....worth millions! )
Collected 3 plants at the London Show from Ecuagenera this year not believing that I could even keep it alive in my warm grow-room, let alone flower it.
Googling its requirements gave the impression that it likes almost sub-arctic conditions, one You-Tuber even sprayed his with iced water each morning to get his one flower.

Its not yet as big as the "flock of seagulls" I've seen photos of, but hopefully I'm part way there?

Steve

Although small, this is fast becoming one of my favourite plants.

This one unlike the other two, was potted in small grade clay balls and smaller than the others which is why I thought this one hadn't flowered.
As the rock-wool specimen had produced the most flowers (just two!) , I repotted this one from the clay balls into rock-wool as well.

Within a month it had produced 3 buds, I didn't think it was the change to rockwool but the move from warm grow-room to the cooler kitchen window-sill (with windows constantly open) which kick-started it into flowering.
I was thinking about taking the other two out of the grow-room as well (as these are supposedly cool growers) but just discovered that the moss-mounted plant which has just had its first flower, has now put out another 3 buds.
So I don't really know where I am with these plants yet or what they want  ......but as long as they keep putting out buds, I'm happy ! :D

Congratulations Steve. That didn't take long to get flowers. As you say, who cares what you're doing as long as they like it.
