After a year and a half and two episodes of buds blasting this small beauty happened.

It was well worth the wait!

Ian, if it wasn't for the fact that I was really intrigued to see if the flower really was as good as posted photos and also that what I'd bought on eBay was as advertised I might have given up a long time ago. But cold and damp seem to have payed off. It certainly doesn't like warm and has blasted twice before when the temperature gets towards 20C.

Took me a while to get this to flower as well mate. I ended up putting mine on a cool window sill in the bathroom, few months later it flowered.

Brian, a good if not all together convincing result. Newcastle look as though they are playing a much faster game under Benitez.

Are saulii quite difficult to flower as a number of people have said that they have suffered bud blast.

Going on what you both have said my conditions this winter have been abit warm for this one. Which was a shame as it was growing well with plenty of new growth then it chucked the lot.

Ian that's what mine did last summer. Plenty of healthy spikes and then all of a sudden every bud turned yellow and dropped. It happened when my temperature spiked at over 20 and was probably more like 25C for a week.
