Thanks Ed. With any luck some of the blooms may just make it - but if not I'll just have to hope for better luck next time, and concentrate on getting what Orchids I have to grow healthy and bloom :)

Yes, same plant a year or two older. It just came as N. falcata, no cv name.
By the way have you noticed that the flower spikes form in late autumn /winter and just sit there as tiny shoots until summer?

Noticed them for the first this year around February... I think!? At first I thought it was new fans, got a little worried when they didn't do anything for a while. Didn't notice any the year before (but probably because I was still in recovery) until the spike were a clear 1/2 to 1 inch.
Fascinating little growth habit though.

Final Update

Well the plant would have made it to the show, with two good spikes, 1 starting to go and one definitely on it's way out. Which was better than I expected. :D
Alas, life is life and I woke up on show day feeling less than my best and was personally to ill to get to go to the show. :(
