Janet you need to resize pictures for the main forum before posting but not the Image Archive. It will depend on what software you have as to how you can do this. I suggest that you Google resizing photos and have a go.

The pics I take get uploaded to Picasa3 on my computer where you can resize very easily ---- i keep them below 1mb. From your computer you can then download to photobucket for easy entry onto the forums. I probably go a long way round but having always done it this way I find other ways complicated. You will be able to edit and play around with the pics on Picasa.
Good luck but you will find your own way to do it!!
