Anyone going to the Durham orchid show on the 6th of September? Should be a great event there are 9 orchid traders and 7 societies. I will have a stall there and should have lots of species orchids, and nepenthes for sale.

Look forward to seeing both of you! I have never been before. How busy is the show normally, do lots of people attend? Need to know how many plants to take down. Are all the societies setting up on Saturday?

And my stall, we have no Rebecca soper, but we have much better than that. (Although Rebecca soper is nice) i think that it is well worth coming.

Thanks for the list ! So far I've not done well with inermis (though they were fresh unrooted cuttings, or my Hamata/burkei cross! My alata is going great though! Need nice easy ones I think!!

We do plenty of easy species and hybrids. intermis rarely ever works from cuttings, very difficult.

Laneside Hardy Orchids will be there with a very wide range of hardy orchids including some natives rarely offered and a new range of calanthes.

Ohh sorry I forgot to mention laneside. Look forward to seeing you there too. Does anyone know who John keeling is and what does he sell?

John is a founder member of BOGA and his father set up the business many years ago. He only attends a few events in the north now, usually with a limited range of species and hybrids often somewhat different to those offered by most of the general nurseries.
