How do you find the electricity bill for your grow tent Dave.

Brian, I've not really separated it from the normal running of the house so I don't really know. I think that my bills went up but whether that was more to do with the cold winter or me getting older I'm not really sure. I have draped some bubble wrap over it this year for the forthcoming winter particularly to keep the chill off the back of the grow tent which is touching a single brick constructed wall to the garage. To heat the tent, I just use a heater mat to keep the intermediates a bit warmer at the roots and a tube heater under my bench to provide some general background heat. Since last year I have now got rid of my slipper orchids as they were a little big and although surviving were not flourishing so I exchanged them for a couple of plants with Chris (blondie). With the combination of heaters I aim to have a minimum temp of 10C.
