This is another recent purchase of a week.

I noticed it as i really like the shape and colour of the plant, its not a very showy species but none the less I still like it.

The flowers have nice markings and coloure even thought those damn slugs and snaile have had a feeding on them.

THis again is kept at 17C, I will see how it goes as it might not like it I have grown Pholidota before not in my own personal collection. they have done very well in hot conditions and intermediate so I have no doubt that this will do well for me. I have never seen or gorwn this species before but they are very close to Coelogyne and Dendrochilum, so i am not worried out the plant at all, it should have no porblem growing and flowering for me.

It has three spikes out at the moment and two more makeing there move so should be flowering for a good couple of weeks.

The flowers of some of these smaller plants are beautiful, particularly if viewed with a magnifier, my problem is that I need much bigger blooms to appreciate without glasses or other aids.
Nevertheless it is a very artistic looking plant.

Big or small, I like them all.

A very nice, delicate little flower Chris.

That's a smashing plant Chris, think I need a Phil / Dendrochillum - no no more seeds sown in the head. But hey one won't matter just a small one !!!
