My nearest city or region is: Bratislava
could anybody help me with identification of this species (or at least genus), I recieved it from one friend, who does not know anything about it...

Looks maybe like some Oncydium but I am not sure...

Flowers are about 0,8 - 1 cm long

Well the flowers look very much like a Tolumnia also known as an Equitant Oncidium but now renamed as simply oncidium. The leaves however do not look like Tolumnia leaves. I will try and find a couple of Tolumnia pics later.

Hello, thank for photos - but I dont think it is tolumnia, leaves are completelly different...

It may be hybrid Ionmesa Popcorn (Gomesa flexuosa x Ionopsis utricularioides). Also known as Ionocidium Popcorn...

But I am still not sure...

looks like a hybrid between tolumnia and ionopsis utricularioides

Hi, check out Comparettia species, it could be a hybrid of one of those, think this could be what you're looking for
