Morning all just joined the group to gain more friendly help and advice from you follow orchid growers.
I grow Masdevallia and restrepia in a cool growing greenhouse here in the East midlands of the UK. I have been growing now for just over one year and to-date have had fairly good success, with the occassional leaf drop due to my culture problems, but believe me you soon learn "quick"!. I followed an old local boy who started me off growing who had his own way of doing things, but sadly recently past away. he even gave me my first Masdevallia to get me started. So I hope joining this group I will find additional help if I need it, Thanks for allowing me to join. I also grow chillies with my Grand kids hence the name chilli Mick.

Welcome Mick,

It sounds like you have a lot of knowledge to share as well. I've only grown a few massies in my time as my indoor conditions are too warm for them. One day I hope to have a greenhouse and have a cool section, as the Pleurothallidinae are a wonderful subtribe of plants.

Looking forward to seeing photos of your collection!
