This little fellow has flowered fo the first time this year, it was bought as a tiny seedling from Orchid Alchemy.
It has a reputation for flowering at Christmas, and true to form the first flower opened on Christmas day, despite the buds only emerging from the sheath about a week before.
No scent that I can detect, maybe it's not warm enough...

Lovely. Just a very well behaved compact species,

A challenge to grow from a seedling and a lovely reward from the blooms. Congratulations.

Thanks it didn’t seem to be much of a challenge to grow, I can’t take much credit for it, it was a very vigorous seedling, getting it to flower seemed more of a trial
