I live in: Greece • Ελλάδα
My nearest city or region is: Marathon
My hardiness zone is: USDA 10a
Cultivated in a kokedama ball.
The diamensions of the flower is 2 X 1,7cm and it has a strong and sweet like honey fragrance.
That's why they named it ambrosia, the nectar of the greek ancient gods, which according to greek mythology was 9 times sweeter than honey.

"Kokedama" ...never heard about it before, so thank you for telling about it. What soil did you use to make the ball?
It looks very natural.
:) The only "problem" is that all your orchids look so beautiful and well-grown, that I wish to have the same species, too!

It looks very natural.

In order to make the kokedama ball I use 5 materials:
1. plastic net
2. leca
3. sphagnum (dried from New Zealand)
4. moss
5. metal wire (inox)
I open the plastic net at first, then I put a layer of moss and then a layer of sphagnum, in the centre I put the leca and close the net.
Finally I put the metal wire (inox) for hanging.
(If you want more information there are videos at youtube about kokedama balls)
