I have had several plants of Oda. Silvius for over 10 years but none have ever flowered. I got these originally from Mansell and Hatcher and wonder if anyone else has this grex, and if so whether flowers have ever appeared. If so, an image of what to expect would be interesting. Seems strange to me that an M & H hybrid is dud, but I suppose can happen. I would have thought that mere survival would have induced flowering. All the plants grow strongly with my other Odonts.

I don't know if this is a bad sign but there are no pictures of this plant in Orchidwiz.

It has probably never been registered, Terry, but you might be right because I was talking to someone recently at Darlington OS who has exactly the same problem. I cannot even find the parentage to research where I am going wrong. Maybe the whole batch has a mis-match of something. Pity because they all grow very well, but if space gets tight, a one way trip to the great greenhouse in the sky might be necessary.

It has been registered in 1935. It is listed in OrchidWiz and here is its pedigree. It just has no photo available. Perhaps this will help with finding the correct growing conditions.

Sorry but I can see on the preview that it is not very clear. It is 56% alexandrae; 19% nobile and the rest is unknown!

That is really helpful, thanks Terry.
I have searched Google many times and cannot find mention, so your information is helpful. Indeed it does not look to be difficult with that parentage, and I should expect something with a basic white background plus red marks.
If I ever get a flower I'll share it on here!
Richard
